(Vibiznews - FX) - Forex trading at the Asian session today (02-02, 05:01 GMT), shows Euro has slid against several other major currencies, as a technical correction in a low trading volume take a place. Index running at 102.66, and showed a decrease about - 0.04% from opening price today (00:00 GMT).

Euro moved higher yesterday, responding to EU economy data. Reports on the manufacturing sector showed an increase in the index to 48.8 from 48.7 in January, and the consumer price index grows + 2.7% in the same period.

Vibiz Consulting Analyst said that the Euro may respond to Eurostat’s reports on the production sector. The producer price index is estimated to drop to - 0.1% of the value of the last period is 0.2%.

At the same time European Central Bank (ECB) is still showing reluctantly to intervene directly on Greek debt problem, and the debt negotiation progressing very slow.

However, there is a probability that Euro will attempt to rise, until the all parties achieved an agreement on Greek debt settlement.
