(Vibiznews-FX) - Swiss franc today (21-01) strengthen against the U.S. dollar and USD / CHF is opened at 0.9114 (00:00 GMT). Swissie has gained about + 21 pips or about + 0.23% at current price 0.9093.

Swiss Franc have touched 0.9082 level today which is the strongest position against the U.S. dollar within the last 12 weeks. Investor’s tend to seek safe-haven currencies before Greek’s rescue approval and had drive the Swiss franc to strengthen.

Vibiz Consulting Analyst said the report may weaken Swiss franc and the currencies may pulling back from its strongest as newly released report by the Swiss statistical office showed a December trade surplus only reached 1.55 billion CHF, a decline from November surplus of 2.01 billion CHF.

EU finance ministers have approved to provide Greece with funding assistance worth 130 billion euro bailout program . The decision was agreed after intense debate between the Greek government and the lenders. USD/CHF today are expected to have a support level at 0.9076 and resistance at 0.9165.
