Kenaikan dollar akibat meningkatnya prospek Fed akan menaikkan suku bunga acuan mulai tahun ini mengakibatkan harga emas yang lazim digunakan sebagai sarana hedging terhadap pelemahan dollar melemah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dalam pidatonya hari Jumat lalu Gubernur Fed Janet Yellen mengatakan bahwa kenaikan suku bunga acuan di Fed sudah pasti akan terjadi tahun ini melihat pemulihan yang berkesinambungan kondisi ekonomi di Amerika Serikat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Emas yang tidak memberikan imbal hasil bunga mengalami lonjakan di tengah kondisi suku bunga acuan rendah dan kebijakan moneter akomodatif yang ditetapkan oleh bank sentral. Saat ini harga emas melemah akibat makin dekatnya rejim suku bunga rendah di Amerika Serikat.
