Selain itu ada juga sebuah laporan yang menunjukkan penurunan kegiatan pengeboran AS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Harga minyak mentah berjangka West Texas Intermediate (WTI) AS berada di $56,68 per barel yang turun 57 sen atau 1,05 persen dari penutupan perdagangan sebelumnya. Demikian juga harga minyak mentah berjangka patokan internasional atau minyak Brent anjlok 66 sen, atau 1 persen pada posisi $65,57 per barel. Posisi hari ini sekaligus memangkas kerugian perdagangan akhir pekan lalu yang sempat terjun ke posisi terendah 3 pekan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meskipun ada kenaikan harga, pasar agak tertahan setelah data ketenagakerjaan AS meningkatkan kekhawatiran bahwa perlambatan ekonomi di Asia dan Eropa tumpah ke Amerika Serikat, di mana pertumbuhan sejauh ini masih sehat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Menteri Perminyakan Saudi Khalid al-Falih mengatakan kepada media pada hari Minggu bahwa terlalu dini untuk mengubah kebijakan produksi OPEC\u00a0 dalam pemotongan produksi pada bulan April.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kenaikan harga juga didukung oleh laporan mingguan terbaru perusahaan jasa energi Baker Hughes dari AS yang menunjukkan jumlah pengeboran rig untuk produksi minyak baru di Amerika Serikat turun sembilan menjadi 834.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Untuk pergerakan harga minyak mentah WTI selanjutnya secara teknikal, analyst Vibiz Research melihat\u00a0 pergerakan harga minyak akan berada pada posisi supportnya di 56.20 \u2013 55.70.
