Sentimen positif investor berlanjut di tengah meredanya kekhawatiran atas wabah virus yang sedang berlangsung di China.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kekhawatiran berkurang setelah China melaporkan 394 korban yang baru tertinfeksi\u00a0 pada hari Rabu, yang merupakan terendah sejak 23 Januari. Investor juga menyambut baik berita bahwa bank sentral China memangkas suku bunga acuan pada hari Kamis karena pembuat kebijakan berusaha untuk menopang perekonomian yang menderita akibat wabah tersebut.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pengumuman tersebut datang beberapa hari setelah bank rakyat Tiongkok memangkas suku bunga untuk pinjaman jangka menengah. Kenaikan indeks mengikuti arahan positif dari Wall Street semalam yang ditutup lebih tinggi, dengan indeks S&amp;P 500 dan Nasdaq mencapai posisi tertinggi baru.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Indeks Nikkei ditutup\u00a0 78 poin lebih tinggi atau 0,3% menjadi 23.479. Demikian indeks Nikkei berjangka kontrak bulan Maret sedang mengalami kenaikan\u00a0 48 poin atau 0,27% menjadi 23,573 basis poin, indeks sempat naik ke posisi 23790 dan turun ke posisi\u00a0 rendah di 23082.
