Penurunan harga dipicu oleh profit taking pasar merespon posisi yen Jepang yang masih kuat, ditengah kekhawatiran investor global.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kekhawatiran muncul di kalangan investor setelah IMF memperkirakan ekonomi global akan menyusut 3% tahun ini, kontraksi paling tajam\u00a0 yang disebabkan oleh pandemi COVID-19. Kemudian juga diberitakan, AS\u00a0 menghentikan kontribusi pendanaan kepada WHO atas sikap mereka terkait pandemik covid-19.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sejauh ini, jumlah kasus virus yang dikonfirmasi mencapai di atas 2 juta. Pada hari Selasa, Jepang mencatat rekor satu hari dari 19 kematian akibat virus, sementara jumlah total kasus yang dikonfirmasi mencapai 8.000.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Indeks Nikkei ditutup 89 poin atau 0,5% lebih rendah ke posisi 19.550 pada yang\u00a0 berbalik dari kenaikan sesi sebelumnya. Indeks sempat naik ke posisi tertinggi 19652 lalu turun\u00a0 ke posisi rendah di 19450.
