Hal tersebut tercermin dari Indeks Keyakinan Konsumen (IKK) pada September 2020 sebesar 83,4, lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan 86,9 pada Agustus 2020. Tertahannya perbaikan keyakinan konsumen terjadi pada seluruh kategori responden, baik menurut tingkat pengeluaran maupun kategori kelompok usia. Secara spasial, keyakinan konsumen menurun di 13 dari 18 kota survei, dengan penurunan terdalam di DKI Jakarta, diikuti Denpasar dan Padang.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cPerbaikan keyakinan konsumen yang tertahan pada September 2020 terutama disebabkan oleh menurunnya ekspektasi konsumen terhadap kondisi ekonomi pada 6 bulan yang akan datang. Hal itu disebabkan oleh perkiraan terhadap ekspansi kegiatan usaha, ketersediaan lapangan kerja dan penghasilan ke depan yang tidak sekuat pada bulan sebelumnya, meskipun berada pada level optimistis. Secara grafis dapat terlihat penurunan yang relatif terbatas dibandingkan indeks bulan sebelumnya. Faktor panjangnya pandemic dunia ini turut memberikan tekanan pada sentimen konsumen, bahkan di seluruh dunia. Karenanya, upaya dan kerja keras pemerintah dan Komite Penanganan COVID-19 dan Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional (PEN) yang berusaha menjaga keseimbangan antara kesehatan masyarakat dan pemulihan ekonomi pantas mendapat apresiasi.
