Pair mendapat tekanan dari usaha penguatan dolar AS yang sudah mencapai posisi tertinggi sepekan, juga oleh meningkatnya kasus baru terinfeksi covid-19 di kawasan Eropa\u00a0 dan tidak adanya perkembangan negoisasi Brexit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Indeks dolar yang menunjukkan kekuatan dolar AS terhadap banyak rival utamanya berusaha menguat setelah tertekan sejak sesi Asia, oleh karena infeksi virus korona terus melonjak di seluruh dunia. AS, Rusia, dan Prancis mencatat rekor harian untuk infeksi virus, dan kematian di AS melampaui 225 ribu. Sementara itu, harapan RUU stimulus baru sebelum pemilihan presiden minggu depan memudar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selain itu, investor berharap bahwa adanya semacam perjanjian perdagangan bebas antara Inggris dan Uni Eropa\u00a0 dapat terjadi, setelah pembicaraan negoisasi diperpanjang hingga 28 Oktober.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Secara teknikal menurut analyst Vibiz Research Center pair GBPUSD ditutup lemah. Kini pair berada di posisi 1,3017, jika pair turun kembali ke posisi 1.2999 akan lanjut\u00a0 meluncur\u00a0 ke support kuat di 1,2974-1,2940.
