Perkembangan ini dipengaruhi oleh inflasi inti yang tetap rendah di tengah kenaikan inflasi kelompok <em>volatile food<\/em> dan deflasi yang lebih rendah pada kelompok <em>administered prices<\/em>. Secara tahunan, inflasi IHK Oktober 2020 tercatat 1,44% (yoy), sedikit meningkat dari inflasi bulan lalu sebesar 1,42% (yoy).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cKe depan, Bank Indonesia terus memperkuat koordinasi kebijakan dengan Pemerintah, baik di tingkat pusat maupun daerah, guna menjaga inflasi sesuai kisaran targetnya,\u201d demikian dinyatakan Kepala Departemen Komunikasi Bank Indonesia, Onny Widjanarko, dalam rilis kepada media (2\/11).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Inflasi inti Oktober 2020 tercatat 0,04% (mtm), lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan inflasi bulan lalu sebesar 0,13% (mtm). Perlambatan ini terutama didukung oleh meredanya inflasi komoditas emas perhiasan sejalan dengan penurunan harga emas dunia. Secara tahunan, inflasi inti tercatat tetap rendah sebesar 1,74% (yoy), melambat dari inflasi September 2020 sebesar 1,86% (yoy). Inflasi inti yang tetap rendah tidak terlepas dari pengaruh permintaan domestik yang belum kuat, konsistensi kebijakan Bank Indonesia dalam mengarahkan ekspektasi inflasi pada kisaran target, harga komoditas dunia yang rendah, dan stabilitas nilai tukar yang terjaga.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kelompok <em>volatile food<\/em> mengalami inflasi 0,40% (mtm) pada Oktober 2020, setelah pada bulan sebelumnya mengalami deflasi 0,60% (mtm). Inflasi kelompok volatile food terutama dipengaruhi oleh kenaikan harga komoditas hortikultura, khususnya cabai merah dan bawang merah, seiring dengan berlalunya musim panen, serta komoditas minyak goreng sejalan dengan kenaikan harga crude palm oil (CPO) global. Inflasi kelompok volatile food yang lebih tinggi tertahan oleh deflasi komoditas daging ayam ras dan telur ayam ras, serta aneka buah-buahan. Secara tahunan, inflasi kelompok <em>volatile food<\/em> tercatat sebesar 1,32% (yoy), meningkat dari bulan sebelumnya sebesar 0,55% (yoy).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kelompok <em>administered prices<\/em> pada Oktober 2020 kembali mengalami deflasi sebesar 0,15% (mtm), meskipun tidak sedalam deflasi bulan sebelumnya sebesar 0,19% (mtm). Perkembangan ini terutama didorong oleh penurunan tarif listrik dan berlanjutnya penurunan tarif angkutan udara dalam rangka menyambut periode libur dan cuti bersama pada akhir bulan Oktober 2020.
