Tekanan profit taking dipicu oleh penguatan yen awal sesi sehingga membuat indeks Nikkei retreat dari posisi tertinggi 3 dekade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sentimen investor tertekan oleh karena kekhawatiran tentang penundaan distribusi vaksin virus corona, penundaan paket stimulus AS dan menunggu dengan hati-hati laporan laba perusahaan.\u00a0Amerika Serikat telah berjuang untuk meningkatkan vaksinasi, negara-negara Eropa menghadapi penundaan pemasok, dan Jepang juga belum memulai vaksinasi.\u00a0Selain itu, Merck &amp; Co Inc telah menghentikan pengembangan vaksin COVID-19, meningkatkan kekhawatiran tambahan tentang kurangnya pasokan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sementara itu, Perdana Menteri Yoshihide Suga meminta maaf karena beberapa orang yang terinfeksi virus dilaporkan meninggal di rumah saat menunggu untuk dirawat di rumah sakit di tengah kekurangan tempat tidur karena kasus melonjak. Lebih dari 15.000 pasien di negara itu berada dalam daftar tunggu untuk rumah sakit atau akomodasi yang ditunjuk .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Jepang pada Selasa akan menyetujui anggaran tambahan ketiga untuk tahun fiskal 2020 sebesar 19,18 triliun yen (185 miliar dolar AS) untuk mendanai langkah-langkah tambahan pemerintah untuk melawan pandemi virus corona.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Indeks harian Nikkei ditutup turun 276,11 poin atau 0,96% ke posisi 28546,18. Demikian untuk indeks Topix turun 0,75% menjadi 1.848.00.\u00a0 Untuk indeks Nikkei berjangka bulan Maret 2021 bergerak turun 250 poin 0,57% menjadi 28530.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Saham yang paling banyak tertekan dari sektor pabrikan otomotif, dimana saham Suzuki Motor dan Bridgestone yang paling lemah dengan penurunan 2,14% dan 2,04% masing-masing.
