Pair memperpanjang posisi tertinggi 2,5 tahun yang dicapai 2 sesi sebelumnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poundsterling menguat di tengah posisi retreat dolar AS dan juga optimis investor bahwa Inggris dapat mengurangi lockdown lebih cepat dari yang diharapkan karena perkembangan cepat vaksin Covid-19 di negara itu. Sebelumnya pound Inggris sempat mendapat kekuatan sebelumnya dari\u00a0 data inflasi Inggris naik sedikit lebih dari yang diharapkan pada bulan Januari.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tingkat inflasi tahunan di Inggris naik tipis menjadi 0,7% pada Januari dari 0,6% pada Desember, sedikit di atas perkiraan pasar 0,6%, karena negara itu berada di bawah penguncian virus corona.
