(Vibiznews \u2013 Commodity) Harga emas turun sedikit pada awal perdagangan sesi AS hari Senin kemarin. Memulai minggu perdagangan yang baru, seperti tidak ada yang mengajukan pembelian terhadap metal safe-haven ini ditengah sentimen pasar yang \u201crisk-off\u201d. Indeks dollar AS yang menguat belakangan ini tetap menjadi elemen yang negatip terhadap pasar metal. Emas berjangka kontrak bulan April turun $19.50 ke $1,712.80 per troy ons. Sementara perak Comex bulan Mei turun $0.269 ke $23.845 per ons.<\/p>\n

Pasar pada hari Senin sibuk dan dibuat nervous atas berita bahwa sebuah perusahaan investasi yang besar, Archegos Capital Management, pada akhir minggu lalu, melikuidasi posisi yang besar senilai $30 miliar di Viacom CBS dan Discovery kemungkinan karena kena margin call. Dikuatirkan akan ada efek domino yang menyebabkan beberapa saham bank investasi turun tajam, namun sejauh ini pasar keuangan dan saham secara umum tidak bereaksi signifikan terhadap masalah ini dan karenanya pasar emas dan perak tidak mengalami kenaikan permintaan dengan cepat. Meskipun demikian hal ini memicu sentimen \u201crisk-off\u201d di pasar yang mendorong naik dollar AS sehingga menekan harga emas.<\/p>\n

Pasar saham global hampir stabil mengarah menguat dalam perdagangan semalam. Indeks saham AS mengarah stabil ke melemah ketika perdagangan sesi New York dimulai.<\/p>\n

Kabar baik datang dari Mesir, dimana otoritas Mesir berhasil membuat kapal super besar Ever Given yang sebelumnya terdampar, kembali dapat mengapung dan berjalan di Kanal Suez yang mengakibatkan perdagangan global kembali normal secara bertahap.<\/p>\n
