Bank sentral AS memulai pertemuan kebijakan dua hari yang dijadwalkan pada hari Selasa. Data terbaru yang menunjukkan lonjakan inflasi telah menimbulkan kekhawatiran bahwa tekanan harga setelah pembukaan kembali ekonomi pasca-COVID dapat memaksa pembuat kebijakan untuk mengurangi stimulus lebih awal.<\/p>\n
Sementara ekspektasi konsensus adalah Fed akan tetap bertahan hingga 2023.<\/p>\n
Terhadap sekeranjang saingannya, dolar AS stabil di 90,5 di awal perdagangan London setelah naik sebanyak 0,4% minggu lalu, kenaikan mingguan terbesar sejak awal Mei.<\/p>\n
Pound Inggris adalah pecundang terbesar di antara mata uang maju di tengah berita bahwa Inggris akan menunda berakhirnya langkah-langkah jarak sosial ketika pemerintah mencoba untuk memperlambat peningkatan pesat dalam infeksi COVID-19.<\/p>\n
Terhadap dolar dan euro, pound melemah sebanyak 0,2% di awal perdagangan London.<\/p>\n
Analyst Vibiz Research Center memperkirakan dolar AS berpotensi naik menantikan pertemuan kebijakan The Fed AS. Namun jika hasil pertemuan The Fed menunjukkan kebijakan suku bunga tidak berubah dan belum terlihat sinyal penguatan ekonomi dari pernyataan The Fed, akan dapat menekan dolar AS.<\/p>\n
