(Vibiznews – Indeks) – Pertemuan komite kebijakan bank sentral AS yang dimulai semalam memberikan kehati-hatian bagi investor global untuk bertaruh lebih besar di bursa Wall Street. Terjadi aksi profit taking yang cukup besar untuk saham-saham teknologi, sehingga indeks utama terkoreksi dari rekornya\u00a0 pada penutupan sesi Rabu dinihari WIB (28\/7\/2021).<\/p>\n

Indeks Nasdaq jatuh 180,14 poin atau 1,2 persen menjadi 14.660,58, indeks S&P 500 turun 20,84 poin atau 0,5 persen menjadi 4.401,46 dan indeks Dow Jones merosot 85,79 poin atau 0,2 persen menjadi 35.058,52. Tekanan jual yang terjadi di Wall Street semalam mencerminkan ketidakpastian menjelang pengumuman kebijakan moneter Federal Reserve pada hari Kamis dinihari.<\/p>\n

Perhatian seluruh investor global sedang menunggu pernyataan Fed untuk\u00a0 petunjuk bahwa bank sentral tersebut sedang mempertimbangkan untuk mengurangi program pembelian asetnya.<\/p>\n

Pelemahan harga saham di Wall Street semalam menghiraukan sinyal positif dari rilis data ekonomi terkini, data pesanan barang tahan lama naik 0,8 persen di bulan Juni setelah melonjak naik 3,2 persen di bulan Mei yang lebih rendah dari proyeksi melonjak sebesar 2,1 persen. Demikian\u00a0\u00a0Conference Board melaporkan\u00a0 indeks kepercayaan konsumen naik tipis ke 129,1 di bulan Juli dari 128,9 di bulan Juni, data terbesar sejak Februari 2020.<\/p>\n

Secara sektoral, tekanan profit taking paling besar terjadi pada saham perangkat keras komputer dengan menyeret NYSE Arca Computer Hardware Index turun sebesar 2,3 persen. Selanjutnya\u00a0 saham transportasi, sebagaimana terlihat dari penurunan 2,2 persen oleh Dow Jones Transportation Average.<\/p>\n

Saham teknologi lainnya yang tertekan yaiu saham semikonduktor dengan Philadelphia Semiconductor Index anjlok 1,9 persen. Kemudian saham jasa minyak, baja dan gas alam juga alami tekanan yang sama. Namun terdapat sektor yang bertahan di zona positif seperti\u00a0 saham utilitas dan tembakau.<\/p>\n
