Yen tertekan terus meninggalkan posisi tertinggi 2 pekan sebelumnya dan menuju kisaran terendah sepekan sekalipun sebelum sesi dirilis data kondisi bisnis Jepang yang meningkat ke tertinggi 3,5 tahun. Indeks sentimen Reuters Tankan untuk produsen di Jepang naik menjadi 33 pada Agustus 2021 dari 25 pada bulan sebelumnya, tertinggi sejak Januari 2018.<\/p>\n

Jepang masih kewalahan mengatasi lonjakan kasus harian, dimana hari ini diberitakan menambahkan kasus terinfeksi covid cetak rekor dengan naik 19.954 kasus baru.
