(Vibiznews – Forex) –\u00a0Bank sentral Australia atau Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) pada hari Selasa (1\/2\/2022) mengeluarkan kebijakan\u00a0 untuk menghentikan program pembelian obligasi senilai A$275 miliar dengan pembelian terakhir dilakukan pada 10 Februari. Kebijakan ini disampaikan bersamaan dengan pengumuman suku bunga yang tidak berubah.<\/p>\n

RBA mempertahankan suku bunga tidak berubah pada rekor terendah 0,1% untuk bulan ke-14 berturut-turut selama pertemuan Januari 2022, seperti yang diperkirakan pasar sebelumnya.<\/p>\n

Komite Kebijakan RBA menekankan bahwa penghentian pelonggaran kuantitatif tidak menyiratkan kenaikan suku bunga jangka pendek karena kondisinya masih siap untuk bersabar. Mereka sampaikan kembali bahwa tidak akan menaikkan suku bunga sampai inflasi aktual berada dalam kisaran target 2 hingga 3%.<\/p>\n

Selain itu Komite Kebijakan menyebutkan bahwa pertumbuhan upah tetap sederhana dan kemungkinan akan memakan waktu lama sebelum agregat berada pada tingkat yang konsisten dengan inflasi yang berkelanjutan sesuai target.<\/p>\n

Sementara itu, pasar masih memperkirakan pergerakan suku bunga naiki ke 0,25% untuk periode bulan Mei yang akan datang, kemudian disusul dengan empat kenaikan lagi menjadi 1,25% pada akhir tahun.<\/p>\n
