(Vibiznews – Commodity) – Masuki perdagangan sesi Eropa hari Selasa (8\/3\/2022) harga emas bergerak diatas kisaran US$2000 per troy ons yang merupakan harga tertinggi sejak bulan Agustus 2020. Demikian juga harga emas berjangka untuk kontrak bulan April melaju diatas US$2000.<\/p>\n

Lonjakan harga emas yang belum berhenti sejak perdagangan pekan lalu masih dipicu oleh ketidakpastian geopolitik dan ekonomi seputar perang Rusia-Ukraina yang mengangkat permintaan\u00a0 safe-haven.<\/p>\n

Konflik yang sedang berlangsung di Ukraina tidak menunjukkan tanda-tanda de-eskalasi, mengguncang pasar komoditas karena Rusia adalah pemasok kelas berat di banyak daerah dan produsen emas utama.<\/p>\n

Selain itu, pemicu lonjakan harga emas juga disebabkan setelah London Bullion Market Association menangguhkan enam penyulingan logam mulia Rusia, melarang mereka menjual emas dan perak di pasar London.<\/p>\n

Kenaikan harga emas sebelumnya disumbang oleh lonjakan harga minyak mentah dunia hingga naik tajam ke ketinggian selama 14 tahun di sekitar $123.00 per barel. Kenaikan ini\u00a0 memicu kekhawatiran inflasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang memberikan tantangan baru bagi bank sentral.<\/p>\n

Terpantau harga emas spot naik 29,66 poin atau 1,61% ke kisaran US$2018,93 per troy ons dan harga emas comex untuk kontrak bulan April 2022 melaju 26,40 poin atau 1,37% ke kisaran US$2022,18 per troy ons.<\/p>\n
