Indeks Dow Jones dan S&amp;P500 turun ke posisi\u00a0 hampir 2 tahun sementara Nasdaq mencapai level terendah sejak November 2020 karena investor resah atas implikasi kebijakan moneter global yang lebih ketat pada momentum pertumbuhan.<\/p>\n<p>Indeks Dow Jones merosot 653,67 poin atau 2 persen menjadi 32.245,70, indeks Nasdaq anjlok 521,41 poin atau 4,3 persen menjadi 11.623,25 dan indeks S&amp;P 500 jatuh 132,10 poin atau 3,2 persen menjadi 3.991,24.<\/p>\n<p>Investor khawatir langkah agresif bank sentral global untuk menahan inflasi dapat menyebabkan periode stagflasi atau resesi langsung, juga dibebani\u00a0 menantikan rilis data inflasi utama dalam beberapa hari mendatang. Karena data inflasi terbaru dapat mempengaruhi ekspektasi mengenai seberapa agresif rencana Federal Reserve untuk menaikkan suku bunganya.<\/p>\n<p>Secara sektoral, pelemahan dipimpin oleh saham\u00a0 energi\u00a0 seiring dengan anjloknya harga minyak mentah.\u00a0 Philadelphia Oil Service Index turun 10,8 persen, NYSE Arca Oil Index anjlok 8,2 persen dan NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index jatuh 6,7 persen.<\/p>\n<p>Pelemahan\u00a0 juga terlihat di antara saham maskapai penerbangan dengan penurunan 7 persen oleh NYSE Arca Airline Index, penutupan terendah dua bulan.
