(Vibiznews – Commodity) \u2013 Harga minyak mentah masih terus tertekan di pasar komoditas sesi Eropa\u00a0 hari Rabu (15\/6\/2022), hingga turun mendekati posisi terendah 2 pekan. Terpantau kedua benchmark harga minyak dunia baik WTI dan juga Brent melemah cukup signifikan.<\/p>\n

Harga terus terpangakas di tengah kekhawatiran permintaan karena investor bersiap untuk langkah agresif dari Federal Reserve untuk memerangi lonjakan inflasi. Dimana pasar bertaruh pada kenaikan suku bunga 75 basis poin yang lebih besar\u00a0 karena bank sentral mencoba menahan kenaikan harga, bahkan dengan risiko resesi.<\/p>\n

Wabah Covid terbaru di China juga menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan lockdown baru yang mengancam akan memukul permintaan lagi. Sementara itu, OPEC berpegang pada perkiraannya bahwa permintaan minyak dunia akan melebihi tingkat pra-pandemi pada 2022, tetapi melihat pertumbuhan permintaan melambat tahun depan karena lonjakan harga minyak membantu menaikkan inflasi dan bertindak sebagai hambatan pada ekonomi global.<\/p>\n

Di tempat lain, harga minyak menghadapi tekanan pada laporan bahwa pejabat AS berencana untuk menerapkan pajak tambahan 21% atas keuntungan perusahaan minyak yang dianggap berlebihan, serta berita bahwa Departemen Energi AS menjual 45 juta barel minyak dari cadangan strategis.<\/p>\n

Harga minyak mentah WTI untuk kontrak berjangka bulan Juli 2022 melemah 1,33% ke posisi US$117.51 per barel setelah dibuka pada posisi US$119.07, sedangkan untuk minyak acuan dunia atau jenis Brent turun 1% \u00a0ke posisi US$119.96 per barel.
