(Vibiznews – Commodity) Harga emas memperpanjang kerugian hingga merosot hampir 1% pada hari Jumat karena laporan pekerjaan AS yang menggembirakan meredakan kekhawatiran resesi dan meningkatkan harapan Federal Reserve akan tetap pada jalur pengetatan agresifnya.<\/p>\n

Spot gold turun 0,92% menjadi $1.774,97 per ons, sementara emas berjangka AS turun 0,87% menjadi $1.791,1.<\/p>\n

Lingkungan suku bunga tinggi merugikan emas karena tidak menghasilkan bunga.<\/p>\n

Pengusaha AS mempekerjakan jauh lebih banyak pekerja dari yang diharapkan pada bulan Juli, dengan tingkat pengangguran turun ke level terendah sebelum pandemi sebesar 3,5%.<\/p>\n

Gambaran ketenagakerjaan yang positif memberi The Fed ruang lingkup lebih lanjut untuk kenaikan suku bunga di masa depan tanpa risiko membawa ekonomi ke dalam resesi, dan kenaikan emas kemungkinan akan dibatasi pada $ 1.800<\/p>\n

Indeks dolar naik 1,1%, membuat emas lebih mahal untuk pembeli luar negeri, sementara imbal hasil Treasury AS memperpanjang kenaikannya setelah data tersebut.<\/p>\n

Di sisi fisik, premi emas di China naik minggu ini karena permintaan safe-haven yang didorong oleh meningkatnya ketegangan dengan Amerika Serikat atas Taiwan.<\/p>\n
