(Vibiznews – Commodity) Harga emas tergelincir pada hari Senin, tertekan penguatan dolar AS bersiap untuk kenaikan suku bunga agresif oleh Federal Reserve AS dan bank sentral lainnya minggu ini dalam upaya untuk mengendalikan inflasi yang tinggi.<\/p>\n

Emas spot terakhir turun 0,67% pada $1,663,69 per ounce.
\nEmas berjangka AS turun 0,67% menjadi $1,662.30.<\/p>\n

Perdagangan diperkirakan akan ringan, dengan pasar emas batangan di London – pusat perdagangan emas fisik terbesar di dunia – ditutup untuk pemakaman Ratu Elizabeth.<\/p>\n

Indeks dolar naik 0,3%, dengan greenback yang lebih kuat membuat emas batangan lebih mahal bagi pembeli dengan mata uang lainnya.<\/p>\n

Komite Pasar Terbuka Federal The Fed akan memulai pertemuan dua hari tentang suku bunga pada 20 September dan mengumumkan keputusannya pada hari berikutnya. Pasar sepenuhnya memperkirakan kenaikan suku bunga sebesar 75 basis poin oleh bank sentral AS.<\/p>\n

Sebagian besar pertemuan bank minggu ini – dari Swiss hingga Afrika Selatan – diperkirakan akan meningkat, dengan pasar terpecah pada apakah Bank of England akan naik 50 atau 75 basis poin.<\/p>\n
