Setelah keluarnya pengumuman dan pernyataan FOMC the Fed dan konferensi pers ketua the Fed Jerome Powell, muncul persepsi bahwa Federal Reserve AS akan mengakhiri kebijakan moneter pengetatannya lebih cepat yang membuat dollar AS turun karena mengalami aksi jual.<\/p>\n<p>Pasar masih menggali pernyataan FOMC the Fed yang keluar pada hari Rabu malam waktu AS dan pernyataan ketua the Fed Jerome Powell di dalam konferensi persnya. The Fed menaikkan tingkat bunga kuncinya sebesar 25 bps sebagaimana yang telah diperkirakan secara luas.<\/p>\n<p>Namun, pernyataan Powell di dalam konferensi persnya membawa pasar percaya bahwa the Fed sudah dekat dengan mengakhiri kenaikan tingkat bunganya. Powell berkata bahwa inflasi sudah mereda, namun masih perlu ditarik turun lebih jauh. Powell menyebutkan perkataan \u201cdisinflasi\u201d sebagai kondisi ekonomi AS saat ini. Kebanyakan orang sepakat bahwa di dalam penilaian final, Powell tidaklah se-hawkish, seperti dalam konferensi persnya selama ini dan membuka pintu bagi the Fed untuk membuat \u201cpivot\u201d lebih cepat.<\/p>\n<p>Namun penurunan dollar AS tidak berlangsung lama.
