(Vibiznews – Commodity) Harga emas bertahan di dekat tertinggi satu tahun pada hari Jumat karena data ekonomi AS baru-baru ini memperkuat pekiraan bahwa Federal Reserve akan segera mengakhiri siklus kenaikan suku bunga, yang mendorong emas menuju kenaikan mingguan kedua berturut-turut.<\/p>\n

Harga emas spot turun 0,78% pada $2.023,77 per ons, dengan harga melayang di bawah tertinggi sesi terakhir sejak 9 Maret 2022. Harga emas berjangka AS turun 0,87% menjadi $2.037,40.<\/p>\n

Emas lebih rendah di sesi ini karena biaya peluang memegang emas tinggi karena imbal hasil obligasi meningkat.<\/p>\n

Imbal hasil zona euro mendekati level tertinggi sebulan karena fokus beralih ke jalur pengetatan Bank Sentral Eropa.<\/p>\n

Sementara itu, The Fed mempertimbangkan jeda kenaikan suku bunga pada bulan Maret dalam menghadapi keruntuhan tiba-tiba dua pemberi pinjaman regional AS, namun tekanan inflasi dipandang lebih penting.<\/p>\n

Emas dianggap sebagai lindung nilai terhadap inflasi dan ketidakpastian ekonomi, tetapi suku bunga yang lebih tinggi meredupkan daya tarik emas yang tidak memberikan imbal hasil.<\/p>\n

Membatasi kerugian emas, dolar merosot ke level terendah satu tahun setelah data minggu ini menunjukkan indeks harga konsumen naik kurang dari yang diperkirakan dan mendorong harapan untuk jeda Fed.<\/p>\n
