(Vibiznews – Commodity) Harga Emas turun dalam perdagangan yang bergejolak pada hari Senin setelah data manufaktur AS yang lebih baik dari perkiraan menjelang keputusan kenaikan suku bunga Federal Reserve minggu ini.<\/p>\n

Harga emas spot turun 0,3% menjadi $1.982,99 per ons.
\nHarga Emas berjangka AS turun sekitar 0,4% menjadi $1.991,1.<\/p>\n

Manufaktur AS naik dari level terendah tiga tahun pada bulan April karena pesanan baru sedikit meningkat dan pekerjaan pulih, sementara belanja konstruksi meningkat lebih dari yang diharapkan pada bulan Maret, didorong oleh investasi dalam struktur non-perumahan.<\/p>\n

Data yang lebih kuat dari perkiraan itu menguatkan dolar AS dan menekan pasar emas.<\/p>\n

Indeks dolar naik 0,3%, membuat emas batangan dengan harga dolar AS kurang menarik bagi pembeli di luar negeri.<\/p>\n

Komite Pasar Terbuka Federal (FOMC) akan bertemu pada 2-3 Mei, dan sebagian besar pasar memperkirakan kenaikan suku bunga 25 basis poin.<\/p>\n

Investor juga akan fokus pada konferensi pers Ketua Fed Jerome Powell untuk menilai apakah komentar mendorong kembali ekspektasi pasar penurunan suku bunga sebelum akhir tahun di tengah gejolak perbankan baru-baru ini dan ancaman resesi yang akan segera terjadi.<\/p>\n

Sementara emas dikenal sebagai lindung nilai inflasi, kenaikan suku bunga cenderung menurunkan permintaan untuk emas batangan dengan imbal hasil nol.<\/p>\n
