Setelah rally tajam selama lima minggu yang mendorong harga kakao ke rekor tertinggi dan wilayah overbought, tekanan likuidasi jangka panjang muncul pada hari Rabu dan membebani harga dengan pedagang mengurangi posisi beli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harga kakao masih mendapat dukungan karena angin musiman Harmattan yang kencang dan curah hujan yang tidak mencukupi di Afrika Barat mengeringkan ladang kakao dan menyebabkan kerusakan pada tanaman pertengahan di Pantai Gading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Produksi kakao yang lebih rendah di Pantai Gading, produsen kakao terbesar di dunia, merupakan faktor kenaikan utama harga kakao. Data pemerintah hari Senin menunjukkan petani Pantai Gading mengirimkan 1,08 MMT kakao ke pelabuhan dari 1 Oktober hingga 11 Februari, turun -38% dibandingkan waktu yang sama tahun lalu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Analyst Vibiz Research Center memperkirakan untuk perdagangan selanjutnya, harga kakao masih akan mendapatkan sentimen bullish gangguan angin Harmattan yang masih terus berlangsung yang dapat mengurangi produksi kakao di Afrika Barat, termasuk Pantai Gading.
