(Vibiznews – Index) – Perdagangan saham AS di Wall Street setelah mendapatkan gain yang cukup besar pekan lalu terus menunjukkan pergerakan yang positif pada sesi yang berakhir Selasa dinihari (20\/8\/2024).<\/p>\n

Indeks Nasdaq dan S&P 500 ditutup sedikit di bawah titik harian tertinggi, Nasdaq melonjak 1,3% menjadi 17.876,77, S&P 500 melonjak\u00a0 1% menjadi 5.608,26 dan Dow Jones naik\u00a0 0,6% menjadi 40.896,53.<\/p>\n

Kekuatan saham awal pekan di Wall Street diuntungkan dari momentum pekan lalu dimana beberapa data ekonomi terkini meredakan kekhawatiran tentang prospek ekonomi dan meningkatkan keyakinan bahwa Fed akan memangkas suku bunga bulan depan.<\/p>\n

Berita ekonomi awal pekan dari\u00a0 Conference Board untuk indikator ekonomi utama AS turun jauh lebih banyak dari yang diharapkan pada bulan Jul, indeks turun 0,6% pada bulan Juli setelah turun 0,2% pada bulan Juni.<\/p>\n

Secara sektoral, penguatan dipimpin oleh saham bioteknologi\u00a0 dengan Indeks Bioteknologi NYSE Arca melonjak sebesar 2,2%.<\/p>\n

Penguatan signifikan juga terlihat di antara saham emas, sebagaimana tercermin dari lonjakan 2,1% oleh Indeks Emas NYSE Arca.<\/p>\n

Saham semikonduktor juga menunjukkan kinerja yang kuat\u00a0 mendorong Indeks Semikonduktor Philadelphia naik sebesar 1,9%.<\/p>\n
