Poundsterling\u00a0 sedikit menguat diatas $1,347 karena investor menunggu kejelasan tentang upaya perdamaian di Timur Tengah. Muncul keterangan yang saling bertentangan dari Presiden AS Donald Trump dan Perdana Menteri Israel Benjamin Netanyahu mengenai percakapan telepon tentang konflik Lebanon, dengan Trump menyatakan bahwa ia telah mendesak kedua belah pihak untuk menghentikan permusuhan, sementara deskripsi Netanyahu kurang eksplisit.<\/p>\n
